JavaScript Job: IT & Software Development Intern (Becario)

Vibe Adventures, Mexico City-based travel startup, is looking for a student who is fluent in English, passionate about traveling, and eager to develop a career in the sphere of international tourism.

ROLE: IT & Software Development Intern (part-time: 30 h/week Monday-Friday)

DUTIES: identify and fix errors, repeated/outdated/unuseful code, or ways to optimize the CSS of the website; help with API integrations (Google Things To Do, reservations systems, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS:

Personal: proactive, independent, and result-oriented; autodidactic quick learner; responsible, punctual, and attentive to details; motivated to constantly learn and contribute to the company’s performance.

Technical: fluent in English (at least 80% in both speaking and writing); university or college (Escuela Técnica Superior) student with 1+ years of studies or a recent graduate in IT/Software Development or similar; knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, HTML, css3.

Experience: previous experience in IT & Software Development is welcomed but not obligatory, basic knowledge of design and UX is a plus.

LOCATION: 2 blocks from Metro Juárez, México City.

START DATE: May 2023 (contrato de prestación de servicios for 6 months).
